What information does Glass Cage Cabaret collect?
How do we use it?

When you contact us, we may gather information from you such as your name, telephone, etc. We may use the information we collect to occasionally notify you about important functionality changes to the website, new products, services and special offers we think you’ll find valuable. If you would rather not receive this information, details of how to remove yourself from our subscription system will be contained in the emails that you receive from us. We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations).  Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

communicate with you; screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and when in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

Google Analytics

When someone visits www.glasscagecabaret.co.uk we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

Mailing Lists

As part of the registration process for our newsletters, we collect personal information. We use that information for a couple of reasons:

  1. to tell you about stuff you’ve asked us to tell you about.

  2. to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information.

  3. to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied.

We do not rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.

We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice.

How does Glass Cage Cabaret protect customer information?

As required by the UK Data Protection Acts of 1984 and 1998, we follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information which you have given us, to prevent unauthorised access. Our security procedures mean that we may occasionally request proof of identity before we are able to disclose sensitive information to you.

What about “cookies”?

Will Glass Cage Cabaret disclose the information it collects to outside parties?

Glass Cage Cabaret does not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others. We may share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
